Description Diederik van der Boor 2008-12-25 14:00:44 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2)) "release 3.1", KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.7-9-pae

the plama file transfer notifier can't be removed when a transfer was aborted. This happened for me when an FTP server become unresponsive.

The notification applet remains visible. I managed to remove temporary it by dragging it to the desktop, and removing the spawned plasmoid afterwards.

Each time a different notification is made (e.g. by knotify), the job transfer re-appears again in the notification stack.

FYI the widget-notifier product is for the device notifier. ;-) The notification stuff lives the in system tray.

This may be related to bug 181027

Do you still experience this with 4.2.0 final or an updated build ?

Nope, I haven't experienced this issue anymore in the final release.
