Version: konqueror-4.1.3-1.1mdv2009.0 (using KDE 4.1.3) Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs I logged in to Ancestry.Com, looked at images of census data for 1860, and then turned my attention elsewhere. An hour or so later, I turned my attention back to Ancestry.Com, and attempted to initiate a new search. I Entered a new name and other search criteria, and hit search. Konqueror crashed. I _suspect_ that Ancestry.Com asked for authentication due to the lengthy period of inactivity. It would still be running though, and should work if given the authentication. In any case, a browser crash really is isn't acceptable. If a password is needed, that request should be passed on to the user.
Hi! If you can reproduce the crash, you should install the debug enabled packages and provide a new backtrace. Read this page for the instructions: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Thanks!
