Description Bartosz Krzeszewski 2008-12-24 11:30:08 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Allways after I use dragonplayer to play movie screensaver is working but in system settings it's turned off. I have to log out if I want screensaver to stop working.

This is probably related to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=178436.

PowerDevil does not interact nicely with video playback, e.g. even when the computer is plugged-in and the power management profile is set to Performance the screen will either get locked after 15 mins or go black due to display power management after 20 mins.

One possible solution might be to hook PowerDevil into the same mechanism that disables screensavers during video playback and have it switch to the Presentation profile (which disables power management for the screen).
