I'm currently testing KDE 4.2 beta 2, installed from Kubuntu binary packages, on Kubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) AMD64.

I get a KDE crash handler almost each time I log in my KDE session, telling me that Plasma workspace crashed with signal 6 (SIGABRT). At that time, the desktop background is filled with the solid color defined in my appearance settings. Then, my desktop wallpaper is displayed and the sessions seams to work correctly.

I didn't had this issue with KDE 4.1.3 (from Kubuntu official repositories) or KDE 4.2 beta 1 (from Kubuntu experimental repository).
