Description Christopher Rasch-Olsen Raa 2008-12-19 21:38:31 UTC
Version: 0.10 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

The following produces a crash:
  - select an image in digikam
  - choose 'edit'
  - open filebrowser (not through digikam, but throught the base system)
  - select the file you have open for editing in digikam
  - press delete

This will promptly crash both digikam AND the editor.

So what I did now was install the debuginfo-enabled packages for Fedora 9 and
ran digikam through gdb. I did as I mentioned in the bugreport and no crash
occured.

Afterwards I deinstalled the debuginfo-packages and did the same thing again.
No crash.

This is very strange, as I tried this _several_ times befor I submitted the
report. I have no idea why this is so.

Sorry to have wasted your time.

Best,
Christopher
