Version: (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources just updated to revision 899087. -set the panel to centered. -set minimum left and right width, and also max to allow growth. when widgets are unlocked, the panel growths with the widgets as expected, or the widgets adjust to the available space. when widgets are locked. the panel doesn't grow and widgets can overlap. most notable with system tray extender with several hidden elements.
Created attachment 29466 [details] Expanding system tray overlaps the clock when widgets are locked in the panel
I've experienced part of the bug Here using: Qt: 4.4.3 KDE: 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2)) kdelibs svn rev. 899135 / kdebase svn rev. 899135 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.8 See the attached video to identify the bug. (First the widgets are locked, and when the system trays expands, it overlaps over the clock, Then when unlocking the widgets, extending and collapsing the system tray seems ok)
seems related to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=177968 even if not an exact dupe
