Version: 3.5.7 (using 3.5.7, compiled sources) Compiler: Target: i486-slackware-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.21.5-smp When try to add samba user from Samba Control Center by using 'Users' menu, selecting from 'Unix users' list box and click to 'Add' button, the user appears in 'Samba users' list box, but do not saved in the smbpasswd file. In fact do not work and need to be added from by console by 'smbpasswd -a username'

Even more - in Slackware 12.2 installed with RAID1 is not possible to manage samba by KDE - when create smb.conf file all KDE samba options become disabled. All other items in KDE Control center works.
