Version:           2.0 (using KDE 4.1.3)
Compiler:          4.3.2-1ubuntu11 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

After launching amarok command in Kubuntu 8.10, using debs from launchpad as shown following the link on  http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Download:Kubuntu.
When I launch the amarok command, it crashes with signal 11.

Here is the output of amarok and the backtrace.

Marking as duplicate of bug 175407. This is related to an error in italian/german translation in xine which crashes Phonon (and thus Amarok). Look at bug 175407 comment 9
