Description Gregor Petrin 2008-12-12 11:15:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When zooming a message using Ctrl + Wheel, the text does not reflow (wrap lines etc) and a horizontal scrollbar appears. This seriously limits the use of the zoom function which comes handy very often - I was tempted to mark this issue a bug instead of a feature request.

A good implementation of such zooming can be seen in Opera's mail client - if some people prefer scrollbars to appear, at least a preference setting would be nice.

I agree with Gregor.

Confirmed in KDE 4.3.4

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 5 Gregor Petrin 2012-08-20 10:56:24 UTC
Kmail 2 seems to implement this behaviour already, so this bug can be closed.

Thanks, I can confirm it (4.8.4), moving and closing.
