Version: 4.2 beta 1 (using Devel) OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources I'm not able to find text I'm searching for when it is inside a frame. Example site: http://porfyriforeningen.dk/
Thanks for the bug report. This issue has already been reported, I'll mark it as a duplicate. Note that the text is found if you click the frame containing it before you search (search only works in the currently active frame). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 31340 ***
Search does not work for me even after selecting the frame.
You are right, I can confirm this in trunk rev. 895445. I had tried only 4.1.3 before because the description sounded like the old bug - Sorry about that!
I have the same problem, using Konqueror 4.2.00. When I go for example to http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/api/ select any of the three frames and search for "applet" the search doesn't find anything.

Will this bug get resolved at least in Konqueror 4.3? Has anyone tried recent enough SVN versions? Is anyone working on this bug?
I'll take a look...

If any of KDE developers want to make Konqueror a viabale alternative in browsers landscape I think this bug should be resolved as soon as possible. After all we already have four duplicates in just one month - people are eager to use Konq but they for all means cannot.
now fixed, see details at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=187475
