Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs Doing RDP connection to windows machine. Krdc asks me which username to use, then kwallet password. It fills out the login window, but it fails because the password is old. I enter the new password into the login window and get on. But the kwallet password does not appear to get updated because this happens every time I log in.
KRDC does not get a response from the RDP server if the password was okay. So if it failed, we cannot update it. The only way to change the password is IMHO in KWallet. I would like to fix it if possible, but I see no way to do so... :(
Perhaps a tab context menu could have an option to "update" the password?
Do you mean a contextmenu in the host settings dialog?
I was actually thinking a context menu on the server's tab, though the host settings dialog might be a better place. It might be good for a right-click or some other action on the server tab that then bring up the host settings dialog? Anyway, in the host settings dialog, it would probably be best to have a new button next to the password reference: "[x]Remember password (KWallet) [ Update Password ]" or at least something close to that.
I agree with your suggestion.
Created attachment 40763 [details] patch which should fix the loop when a wrong password is saved in the wallet Can you please try to attached patch and tell me if it fixes your issue? Thanks!
