Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

I use a KVM switch to select between my home computer running Kubuntu 8.10 and my work laptop running Windows XP.  In both cases my mouse is set for left-handed operation.  When I switch back to Kubuntu the mouse has reverted to right-handed settings.

This did not happen under KDE3 with Kubuntu 8.04, or under Fedora with KDE3.  In those cases the mouse retained its left-handed settings.

Is it still an issue in recent versions (KDE SC 4.8.x or higher) ?
