Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs Look at the attachment for example. It passes the validator.w3.org test and only 2 lines show up in konqueror 4.1.3 +the konqueror window seems like locked. Firefox and opera open the file without problems. I can give a few other simpler examples if you have some objections to that one. Cheers!

Dear Bug Submitter, This is a reminder that this bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!
Hi Andrew, it is trivial to test wether the issue still exists. Simply open the attachment in konqueror and in other programs able to render svg, and kompare. You will see that while konqueror now (v5.0.97, kdef v5.52.0, qt v5.11.2) does show the picture without locking up, it is different from what firefox and chromium show.
Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version? If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "REPORTED" when replying. Thank you!
Image still not showing properly or at all in v22.12.0, at least it doesn't lockup now.
Dear user, KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6. Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component. We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes. For security issues, please see: https://kde.org/info/security/ Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML. Greetings Christoph Cullmann
