Description Dan 2008-12-05 08:11:08 UTC
Version: svn (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 -O3 -march=native
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

Whem someone adds me on ICQ, the user doesn't appear online even after I added him/her. The user is in the contact list and authorized.

The authorization seems to not have any effect too.

Did anyone notice this?

Thanks.

You already have it somewhere in contact list :) "Item already exists in SSI"

Strange, because I deleted it before readding... this uin doesn't show online here...

Anyway, this problem happened a month ago, and new ones are fine. Thank you.

Reopening since I see this very problem with 'strange' ICQ users who approach me. There is no way to see their real status, they're always offline. Kopete 0.70.0 shipped with KDE 4.2.1.

Yes, it happens to me too. I thought it was a temporary issue, but I still have offline users here.

You won't be able to see the other person's status unless they've authorized you as well. Need debug output in order to better diagnose this. Please provide and reopen.
