Description diegogeid 2008-12-03 19:37:33 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using KDE 4.1.3)
Compiler: Ubuntu packages
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I go to "additional information", in the window "adjust view properties", and I uncheck any additional information, after accept and applied, the changes aren't recorded.

The same happens if I click the right button in any directory and modify the view mode or the columns to see

Sorry, "view mode" functions well but not the columns to see.

Greetings

Here using:

Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2))
kdelibs svn rev. 899135 / kdebase svn rev. 899135
on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.8

If you are in Details view, when tring to disable all the columns in the "Additional information" in Edit/"Adjust view properties", Dolphin defaults to Size and Date columns enabled. (and their checkboxs are checked). Seems like a "feature", but this affects the customization.

This issue is a little bit tricky to fix and I must postpone it to 4.3 as the fix might have side effects. The problem is that currently Dolphin is not aware whether someone has removed all columns in the details view on purpose or whether the details view has been used the first time for a directory and hence should have the default with name, size and date...

Fail to reproduce using KDE SC 4.9.
