Description daath 2008-12-02 16:34:47 UTC
Version: 4.1.2 (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Using KOrganizer 4.1.2, I have found that I cannot change both the time of an appointment and the associated timezone at once. If I do, both changes will be discarded and the entry stays as it is. Changing first the timezone, committing and then changing the time afterwards will result in a properly modified entry.

This error occurred after importing an old iCalendar resource from KOrganizer 3.x.x, which has a known incompatibility to 4.x.x that will reset the timezones of entries with no associated timezone to UTC. In my case, they were also put one hour into the past (i.e. from 9am to 8am), although they strangely appeared at the proper place in the graphical display. Apparently KOrganizer honors the default timezone when displaying, but not when importing.

To reproduce the bug, I believe it should be enough to try changing both the timezone and time of any arbitrary appointment at once.

Can you try to reproduce the bug with kde 4.2.x?

Working fine (4.4) for me and no feedback.
