Description Syam 2008-11-29 15:16:41 UTC
Version: 1.3.3 (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When the search text is changed, Akregator immediately starts searching. This is very slow when you have lots of articles (for example when 'All feeds' is selected).
IMHO, search must be started only after a delay (200ms to 1s).
For example, if I want to search for "amarok", in the current implementation, it starts searching the moment I press "a". This kind of freezes the UI, requiring me to wait for sometime before I can type the next characters.

Does this reach the Akregator mailing list?

The search behaviour is OK now. So closing. Thanks
