Version: 4.1.80 (KDE 4.1.80 (KDE 4.2 Beta1)) (using 4.1.80 (KDE 4.1.80 (KDE 4.2 Beta1)), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-7-generic When a page has finished loading, the focus should be on the page so that it can be scrolled with the page-up or page-down keys (or the arrows) without needing to click on the page first. The way it is now, if I want to scroll with the keyboard, I first have to reach for the mouse, click on the page, then go back to the keyboard and start scrolling.
Keyboard focus should also go to the page when switching tabs. Even if the tab is switched using the keyboard shortcut, the focus is no longer on the page, so the up-arrow, down-arrow, page-up, and page-down keys do not work until the page is clicked on.
I also have this bug on konqueror-4.1.85(Debian Sid backports).
Same problem here, with kde-4.1.87
Same problem with gentoo and kde-4.2.60
