Description JD 2008-11-26 22:47:37 UTC
Version: 4.12 (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have recently upgraded to KDE 4.12 from a 3.?? version. Previously, when using Konqueror as a file browser, there was an option to sort files in a case-sensitive manner. Now, that option is gone. I can sort by "Name", but this ignores case.

Is the option gone for good?

I'll reassign this to Dolphin because Konqueror uses Dolphin's file management code for these things.

I think that adding case-sensitive sorting as an option would require quite substantial code changes, and I don't know if this feature would really be useful enough to justify this, but that's not up to me to decide ;-)
