Version: 4.1.3 (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Mandriva RPMs When I request "Move to Trash" for a file, "Do you really want to move this item to the trash?" dialog appears. In the dialog is shown the filename. The issue is when the filename is so long that it does not fit into the displayed portion of the window. In this case after the "Do you really want to move this item to the trash?" window appears, it is shown on the screen the starting part of the filename such as "/home/porton/...". I suggest to instead show the ending part of the filename such as ".../file.txt". This could be more informative than showing its starting part.
Cannot reproduce anymore: the dialog has been updated in trunk and now there is a scrollbar.
Yes, there is a scrollbar. (It is not updated, the scrollbar there was always.) What I want is that the scrollbar should be automatically scrolled to the rightmost position (instead of the leftmost as it is now).
Actually, in my opinion only the filenames should be shown and not the complete path. Users fell that they are (for example) IN /home/user/banks/ and that they are DELETING paypal.txt. Only developers feel that they are deleting /home/user/banks/paypal.txt. For users, the path is the PLACE, not part of the OBJECT being deleted.
