Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 4.1.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages In akregator 1.3.1: there are 4 tabs in the message board, namely title, feed, author, date I usually have all of them checked. But it happens sometimes that I have all of them checked but the feed tab does not show up, only the other 3. I think this is related to the fact that I once had the feed tab disabled and now I enabled it again but it's not showing (sometimes). When that happens (feed tab disappears even though it shouldn't) I can recover the feed tab by switching to combined view and back to normal view. Then the feed tab is back. But note that this can happen every once in a while, suddenly the feed tab is gone! I haven't quite understood what triggers it though.
I tested a little more and I think the problem is this: say I have the feed tab unchecked in feed XY and then I switch from the global feed ("ALL feeds") to feed XY and then switch back to the global feed. Then my settings for the global feed are messed up because XY has different tabs than the global feed. And so on, this tab geometry is all very unstable in akregator at the moment. I also have the feeling that with some feeds, akregator does not remember the tab geometry when I quit and restart (e.g. I check the "feed tab", it shows up, then I quit and restart, and the "feed tab" has disappeared again).
Just downloaded the new version and this bug persists in 1.3.3.
I confirm bug with Akregator v1.3.3 on KDE 4.1.3 (Fedora 10).
It's still the same in 4.2.2. Voted for it.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
I can no longer recreate the bug with Akregator Version 5.3.0. Fedora 24 KDE Frameworks 5.26.0 Qt 5.6.1 (built against 5.6.1)
