Version: (using KDE 3.5.10) OS: Linux Installed from: Fedora RPMs Today i found i would appreciate if Light table could highlight values that are different in metadata bar. Sometimes i have more similar photos taken with different exposition and then i have to find hard which ones they are. Highlihting would help a lot. Michal
Michal, In digiKam 1.0.0-beta3, metadata filter from left and right sidebar can be customized. If you set filter and images don't have metadata tags avaialble, filter lets missing tag in grey. This can help you to compare images. Gilles Caulier

Michal, What's about this file if you use metadata filter from right and left sidebar of Light Table ? If filter is set properly, you can compare metadata list easily. Gilles Caulier
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
Hello Justin, thanks for your interest. It's been a long time since i've used this tool and filed this feature request. Perhaps the bug can be closed because there is probably not enough interest from other users. Anyway, when i looked at current version of digikam (6.4) and the Light Table tool, the comparison of metadata does not work as i imagined. I thought there could be a possibility to either highlight differences or only show different metadata. With possibly one click on a select box. Also filtering of metadata as you mentioned previously has changed. Here i don't understand how it works. It is clear how to use the text input. I just don't know what is the purpose of the select box, it does not change anything. This feature is not well documented. Thanks, Michal
