Description Andreas Hochsteger 2000-12-22 06:48:38 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcmfiletypes
Version: v2.0 (KDE 2.0.1)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (SuSE)

If I type "text" or "plain" or "audio" the filetypes appear during writing but as soon as I've finished the word
it shows nothing in the treeview.

This isn't a bug the search dialog is for extension and not the mimetype.
The reasonw hat you described happens is because there are mimetypes that are
associated with extensions .tex .pl and .au
