The same call to kdesu issued from a konsole works. Similar bugs: ------------- Bugs 135645, 78948, 25430, 154355, 154188 describe similar problems. All of those are listed as resolved though. So I'm opening a new ticket - it seems the bug isn't dead after all or it has reappeared in newer KDE versions. Thanks for investigating. Cheers, e2.
The kdesu usage in systemsettings is the result of a Fedora-specific patch to it, so please report the problem to Fedora.
