Version:           1.9.9 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Compiler:          gcc 4.1~4.3 Not used by me to prepare this software.
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

After many successful filtrations of many messages at once, I was rudely surprised by a crash immediately following one such effort.

There were at the moment 9 messages in the stack being filtered. The filter is asked merely to move the message to the correct cold-storage folder.

There appears to be only one message lost. That consists of one message which was an answer to one of the others which was emptied of its content. That one will now neither delete nor move anywhere else.

I might take this opportunity to comment that I cannot see any of the data files maintained by KMAIL. Among other things, this means that I cannot delete an index file, for instance.

Your kmail version is mostly unsupported nowadays. Please consider upgrading to kmail 1.10.
