Version: (using KDE 3.5.10) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Sometimes one receives mails that one does not want to answer immediately. For example one knows that one wants to work in the issue in 5 days. There should be a way to get the mail delivered again in 5 days. In German it is called "Wiedervorlage".
hi, this bug is not a crash, rather a wish. to the wish by itself, i think it isnt needed really. you could for example set up a custom folder for it and use a filter with "age in days >= 5" . then do something with this mail, set unread etc, move back.
Of course this was meant as a wishlist item. Using custom folders for such a task is very tedious. One needs one folder for each timespan, because normally one does not have a fixed number of days to get the mail resubmitted. An option that allows to mark a mail as "set it to unread on next monday" would be fine. The option would show a calender to pick a day on which one wants to reread the mail.
I think Christoph wants something for mails like it exists just now for appointmens in korganizer. A way to tell kmail to show a received mail again in a few days as a new unread mail (may be something like the actual Create Todo/Reminder, but with the ability to open the selected mail when the reminder is activated). May be also be able to send automatically already composed mails in the future?
Sounds like a valid feature request. Reassigning to kdepim-bugs.
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
As kmail2 seems to not have the feature.
I implemented it in 4.11
