Description Ian Higginson 2008-11-11 02:26:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I've noticed that when I start to play an .mp3 file that's encoded using a VBR that the very start of the track is missing. It's only a very short period but it's noticable. I tested all my CBR tracks and they aren't affected.

You're most likely using phonon's gstreamer backend which is buggy at best. Switch to xine.
Comment 2 Ian Higginson 2008-11-11 04:03:25 UTC
Thanks for your reply! I can't seem to find the option to switch to xine anywhere, though...

I'm using Amarok 2 (beta 3) if that helps! =)
