Version: 0.10.0-beta6 (rev.: 882093) (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-7-generic Creating a new album in the left side bar, e.g. album "X", creates actually _two_ new albums, both with the name "X". The directory is created as requested, but it is shown twice in the album tree.
Marcel, This problem is not fully fixed ? Gilles
Actually this is a duplicate of bug 174202, but since the problem is described a little bit better in here, I will close the other one instead. I also can still confirm it, too. Creating a folder from outside of digiKam works, but inside we get duplicate albums. Andi

Marcel needs more info here. Where duplicates entries is done ? With a root album as parent or with a children album as parent ? Gilles
Gilles, isn't this happening to you, too? Right now I can only confirm it when creating a new album directly under a root album. But I'm pretty sure it was also the case for "normal" folders before, maybe this has been already fixed. Andi
The only change done by Marcel to fix this problem have been committed during coding sprint at Genoa. I have found this problem myself and reported it to Marcel. Gilles
Forget to said that i can reproduce the problem only when new album is created from Root album as parent, not with a sub-album as parent. Gilles
Yes I can confirm, I think this problem remained on my TODO list in Genoa. Will have a look at it.
Commit #887562 from Marcel should fix this problem (and it does for me). Gandalf, can you confirm with latest SVN? Andi
still present in todays svn. is it related to Bug 175914 ?
I can not confirm it anymore, it works fine here.
In current svn, the bug does not appear any more on my machine, thanks for fixing it!
