Version: 2.0 (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources I know nowadays Audio CD are getting rarer but it would be nice to have this feature anyway. In particular in this moment there aren't good CD Players for KDE 4: - KScD is in poor state right now; - Dragon Player actually isn't a real CD Player; - Kaffeine port is still in progress. So it would be nice if the best audio player (in the world, of course) will be able to play Audio CDs again.
It would be nice too if Audio CDs could be ripped and copied to the collection. If you insert an Audio CD, amarok asks you if you want to play the CD or to copy it to your collection.

Right now none of the developers sees this as a priority. So if you want to see this implemented you will need to find someone to code it. Our time is unfortunately limited and this is not high priority. If you find someone who is interested in implementing it we will of course welcome that and help where needed.
This is fixed in 2.2-SVN, right?
yes it is, thanks
