Maybe, the Chinese font is the key. the url is http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=128192&package_id=156288 and the author's home page http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=128192&package_id=156288

I've done my best to try to reproduce this bug, but I do not understand Chinese, the files that I've created with the default names are shown here (with the fonts provided by opensuse 11.2). Could you test this bug with kde 4.4 beta 2?

No problem. Please test it with KDE SC 4.4.0 when it gets released. Regards
Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later.
