Hi, thanks for your bugreport.

Can you reproduce the crash? If so, could you have a look at http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports, try to install the debugging packages for your distribution and post another (more verbose) backtrace for the crash?

here is what information I got via mail:

I plugged in a "Logitech Quickcam Ultra Vision" web camera, checked the
volume, then unplugged the device and checked the volume. The USB microphone
was still showing in Kmix and then Kmix crashed. When I rebooted the system
Kmix was fine.

Kmix has been fine ever since then since I only plug in and unplug the web
camera when the computer is off.

Please let me know if you require any more information.

good day;

same problem here:
upon upgrade can not receive and send webcam in kopete yahoo. AMSN working fine after upgrade.
-installed libjabber
-installed libyahoo
-removed package kopete and later add package kopete from synaptic

this all without result.

By the way locally - preferences - webcam in kopete all works fine.

In edition 8.04 all worked fine.
