Running: Linux version 2.6.27-desktop586-0.rc8.2mnb (pterjan@klodia.mandriva.com) (gcc version 4.3.1 20080626 (prerelease) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Thu Oct 2 05:52:21 EDT 2008

When using 3d effects (Compiz) (Could be a Compiz problem) if you resize a konsole window KDE freezes for a few second until it resizes the konsole window.

If you do the same with firefox, firefox window is resized with no problem.

Have you experienced this bug again with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) or Compiz disabled. Have you tried the KWin integrated desktop compositing features?  Thanks :)
