Then I close terminal to make a quick edit. As shown in the second screenshot, when I show the terminal again, all the existing text in the terminal window has been truncated to 18 characters. Bummer. That's the bug. Let me know if I can send you anything else or test it in other ways. Thanks.
Created attachment 28239 [details] Terminal bug in displaying I have a bug with the terminal too. I don't know if it's the same. There's not always a return character after a command, and after few commands the cursor is not positioned at the end of the terminal in a new empty line, but at the begining of a previous command line. See attached screen shot. I just opened few files in /var subdirectories and then displayed the terminal. Often I must clear the terminal screen to can use it.

Created attachment 28241 [details] Terminal bug 3 This screen shot is the best. :) I circled in blue the last command (the cursor was positioned this) and the result of the command is in pink. There's a mix of new commands, previous commands, results of commands, return characters (or not)... It's not possible to use the terminal without clear the screen very often.
