Version:           3.0 Beta 4 (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Adept 3 doesn't show all packages.

An example:
1.) Search 'kdm' at Adept 3.
2.) Search 'kdm' at aptitude (or at Synaptic).

The results for aptitude (and for Synaptic too) are:
p   kde-kdm-themes                  - Themes for the K Display Manager
i   kdm                             - gestor de pantalla para X11 de KDE
p   kdmtheme

... but Adept 3 doesn't show any package.

I'm using Adept 3.0 Beta 4 at Kubuntu 8.10.

The bug affects to Adept Manager and to Adept Installer.

Caused by the Kubuntu patch that requires a minimum of 4 letters for searching to prevent hangups while searching for things such as "lib".

Jonathan, is this (or is this going to be) resolved? I'll close this bug here as it is kubuntu-specific, but please make sure it's either fixed or tracked in launchpad, thanks.
