Version: 3.1.69 (using 4.1.69 (KDE 4.1.69 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081009)), Gentoo) Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-gentoo-r1 Steps to reproduce: 1) Open kate 2) Go to Settings-> Configure Toolbars 2) Select main toolbar<katePartView> 3) change main toolbar<katePartView> (e.g. add a bookmarks menu) 4) Apply changes 5) See that the main toolbar was completely disabled Note: This is not just a cosmetical problem as the program after this also is in some inconsistent state which leads to crashes if I now modify the toolbar<katePartView>. (Bugreport for the crash follows soon)
The bugreport for the crashes that can be achieved after having run into this bug is filed as bug #173717
I can always reproduce this bug (Kate 3.1.2).
Works for me in KDE 4.6. Please reopen, if the issue still exists for you.
