Description Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2008-10-24 16:33:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

I accidently typed home/ into the adressbar and this resultet in dolphin crashing.
I tried the same on konqueror, but there it corrects my mistake and shows me the /home folder, without any crash.

The Backtrace:

Comment 2 Frank Reininghaus 2008-10-24 20:12:17 UTC
Thanks for the bug report. I can reproduce this in 4.1.2 (Kubuntu), but not in trunk rev. 875277. Probably a duplicate of bug 170695 (which is fixed in trunk, to become KDE 4.2). I'm not sure if it's fixed in the 4.1.x branch or not.
Comment 3 Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2008-10-24 20:47:55 UTC
When I enter media/ I also get a crash, so this might be a duplicate
Comment 4 Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2008-10-24 21:09:50 UTC
Something I noticed:

every folder in the / directory, crashes dolphin, if it is entered in this special way.

For example:
var/ or bin/

BUT:
If I create a folder in the / dir, named "test", and enter test/ in dolphin it doesn't crash

(In reply to comment #4)

I don't know why that doesn't crash, but it's most probably a duplicate.
