Description Phillip Bastian 2008-10-23 19:58:28 UTC
Version: 1.4.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.10)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am an avid classical music listener, but I also like to listen to plenty of mainstream music as well. I also have a large collection of Christmas music. This causes problems, as one library never seems to work for me. When I'm listening to Classical music, for instance, I am interested in different fields (Composer becomes much more relevant, but I don't care so much about Album). I also tend to want different genres when I'm listening to classical music. I also just don't like to mix them up.

My thought is that it would probably be relatively easy to add the option of having multiple libraries. You could even have nice tabs to switch between libraries so that it's simple. The actual tracks would be different and so would the fields, and I guess you would scan different parts of the hard drive for different libraries.

Anyway, I'd love to see this implemented--this has been an irritation with pretty much every jukebox program I've had.
