Description Michał D. (Emdek) 2008-10-19 22:08:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Kicker clocks in KDE3 have in context menu option "Copy to clipboard" that allows to fast copying of date and time in selected format to clipboard. This option was very useful and it would be very nice if someone would add it to KDE4 Plasma clocks.

I can confirm that this feature is present in KDE 3.5.10 (and is _very_ useful) and missing in KDE 4.2.

I think that this should be integrated in plasmaclock library because it is not so hard to do (I've already created implementation for my custom clock, Adjustable Clock at kde-look.org, maybe not perfect, but works good) and it is very useful.
I could try to prepare patch that adds this functionality if plasmaclock developers are interested and I'll have some free time.
