Wait a minute... KDE 4.0.5 with kmail (and on windows!) ??? Afaik kdepim for kde4 was released with KDE 4.1.0. And how is it running on windows if the paths say /usr/lib64/foo and /lib64/libc.so.6 ?? It looks more like a linux system to me, except if this is cygwin or something like that. So, even if those versions that you claim exist, you are using a pre-alpha version of the software. Please install recent packages for windows and see if the problem persists. Btw, the crash looks like a crash in Qt (QTreeView to be more specific).

When I log in it tells me: new software are available for your system and I try to do the update I receive this massage: KDEsu (4157) /Kdesu (kdelbis) KDEsuClient::command:[/usr/src/packages/BUILD/kdelis-4.0.4/kdesu/client.cpp : 196 no reply from deamon. All I can say here is that it works for me on kmail 1.10.1. I have created many filter rules like that and in all of them I am able to select any folder I like.
Gillermo has changed to Mandriva 2009, and now this problem is solved.
