Wait a minute... KDE 4.0.5 with kmail (and on windows!) ??? Afaik kdepim for kde4 was released with KDE 4.1.0. And how is it running on windows if the paths say /usr/lib64/foo and /lib64/libc.so.6 ?? It looks more like a linux system to me, except if this is cygwin or something like that.

So, even if those versions that you claim exist, you are using a pre-alpha version of the software. Please install recent packages for windows and see if the problem persists.

Btw, the crash looks like a crash in Qt (QTreeView to be more specific).

@Guillermo: Please reply in the bugzilla and not using "reply" from your mail client, because the messages never reach the bugzilla. Thank you.

George,

Thank you for your quick response. I installed Open Suse 11.0 and according to Kmail I am using a KDE 4.0.4>= 20080505 release 15.1 yesterday on my laptop, I have Windows XP on one partition and Suse on the other. My Laptop is a HP L2000 Special Edition and have encounter two basic problems:

1.- In kmail when I tried to create a Filter Rule to be able to move some Email from inbox to a selected folder, this is what happens: I have created new folder to accomplish the task but when I get to the part to set it up the only alternative that I have is Local Folder, the SubFolder button is inactive and when I click on the local folder it crashes.

2.- The other problem is more seriuos and is related with the openSuse updater. When I log in it tells me: new software are available for your system and I try to do the update I receive this massage: KDEsu (4157) /Kdesu (kdelbis) KDEsuClient::command:[/usr/src/packages/BUILD/kdelis-4.0.4/kdesu/client.cpp : 196 no reply from deamon.

Please be patient with me I am a new user.
 Thank you for the help

I understand, and will do as you suggested in the future.

i think we can close this one?
Comment 5 George Kiagiadakis 2008-10-28 10:00:55 UTC
All I can say here is that it works for me on kmail 1.10.1. I have created many filter rules like that and in all of them I am able to select any folder I like.

Gillermo has changed to Mandriva 2009, and now this problem is solved.
