Description Vsevolod Krishchenko 2008-10-17 12:44:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I try to copy local directory including hundred of file via fish, copying proccess almost always hangs and stalls on random file.

There's no problms with scp or network. Bug appears in both konqueror and krusader so I believe it is fish kio slave problem.

How to reproduce:
- select a local folder with ~20 subfolders and ~200 small files
- try to copy it via fish (copy - paste will do)
- if it works (not my case), repeat until error appears :)

Screenshots included.

I get the same behavior. If i retry a few times or transfer files one by one I eventually make it, but it's really annoying. It's inside a lan so there are no firewalls. (ubuntu's KDE 3.5.10, krusader 1.9)

I can post some wireshark logs if it would help diagnose this problem, but it doesn't show any errors and ssh is encrypted so I doubt it would help.

This looks like a dupe of 156259, however that bug was marked as FIXED and this bug obviously still exists. Might one of the numerous dupes of 156259 be a dupe of this bug instead?
