Description Tony O'Bryan 2008-10-14 21:27:59 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

When using the fish IO slave in Dolphin, Dolphin crashes when trying to deal with null icons (according to the assert message). If I turn off file previews within Dolphin, then the crash does not occur. This is the assert message I get when running Dolphin through the command line:

ASSERT: "!icon.isNull()" in file /build/buildd/kde4libs-4.1.2/kio/kio/kdirmodel.cpp, line 616

Thanks for the bug report. This might be a duplicate of bug 170547 which was fixed just today. To be sure, it would be helpful if you could either provide a backtrace, see
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
or check if there are images where the height is much larger than the width or vice versa in the problematic directory.
