I think it would be useful to have the possibility to format your notes, through a context menu, because in kde 4.1.1, the only thing I can currently change is the font and the text-color.
In my opinion, it should also be possible to make your text bold, italic and strike-through.
An example:
If you select some text from one of your notes and right-click on it, you should get a menu, that lets you format the selected text with the above mentioned things. 
Just like in a TO-DO list, where you strike-through things you already finished.

I hope you understand what I mean

I'll close this, as something similar has been added to 4.3 trunk ;-)
