Version: (using KDE 4.1.1) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs Sphere and cylinder animations are identical to Cube desktop animation. I'll add screenshot to show its behaviour. It is on KDE4.1.1 from openSUSE Factory
Created attachment 27580 [details] Screenshot showing incorrect behaviour of kwin effects cube, sphere and cylinder (all the same) on dual monitors

The sphere and cylinder effects require shader support to display correctly. Such effects should not even be allowed to be loaded on such systems. I wonder what's broken there.
Last time I tried openSuSE the shader files were not installed. So the test if the effect is supported results true, but the effect was not able to locate the shaders resulting in simple cube effect as cylinder/sphere are just extensions to cube.
