Description Herbert Baierl 2008-09-23 14:58:56 UTC
Version:           0.9.4 (using 3.5.9, Debian Package 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-6 (lenny/sid))
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24.2

When selecting tab entry "Metadateien" (Metafiles), then tab entry "Herstellerbemerkung" (Manufacturer's comment) the entry "Shutter Speed Value" shows "1/2147483648 s" when the shutter speed actually was greater than 1s. This may be due to an error in the camera software, but may also be a bug in digikam. Nevertheless, digikam should check the corresponding values for plausibility.

t >= 1  --> show t seconds
t < 1   --> show fraction seconds

Andreas,

Do you think that Exiv2 0.18.2 fix the problem here ?

Gilles,

I don't remember fixing anything in this area, but the report is quite old and he doesn't say what camera he is using.

Herbert,

Can you attach an image with that issue please?

Thanks,
Andreas

New digiKam 4.11.0 is available.

Can you reproduce the problem with this release ?
Comment 7 caulier.gilles 2016-07-14 13:02:44 UTC
This problem is not reproducible using last digiKam 5.0.0 + Exiv2 0.25.
I close this file now. Don't hesitate to re-open if necessary.
