Version: 1.1 (using KDE 4.1.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Unspecified Linux When open Dolphin and pres Alt+. for hidden files, Dolphin crashes. Then I open it again and hiden files are shown. That happens every time, but only when it is set on Columns view mode.
Hello, could you please attach a backtrace of the crash? You can find more instruction in: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports Thanks!
A Fatal Error Occurred The application Dolphin (dolphin) crashed and caused the signal 6 (SIGABRT). Please help us improve the software you use by filing a report at http://bugs.kde.org. Useful details include how to reproduce the When I clicked for details: Could not generate a backtrace as the debugger 'gdb' was not found.
I can confirm this crash. However, I need to have the columns view enabled. If i do this, I get the backtrace for bug #166921. Atomic, can you make it crash in other views too? If so, in which views? (If it only crashes in column view I'd say this is another dupe of bug #166921)
Uuups, forget about my question about columns view... Its obviously late ;) As this is the only view it crashes on, and my backtrace is identical to the backtrace for bug #166921, I guess this indeed is a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 166921 ***
Same thing is happening by pressing preview button in the Icon Settings, no matter which View is set in Dolphin. Sorry for I didn't reed other bugs reports. Actually this is my second day I'm using KDEmod in Arch and first bug report. I used to be conservative GNOME user for a long time.
