Hello,

unfortunately, the attached backtrace is not useful.
Could you please get a better one? You can find more instruction in:
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

Thanks!
Comment 2 Dmitry Korzhevin 2008-09-22 16:58:58 UTC
Thank you for answer. But i can't install debug (-dbg) packages in Ubuntu 8.04 for this version of KDE 4.1.1 because i get packages from this PPA^

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu hardy main (kubuntu-members-kde4)

http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.1.1

Maby you can advise me another way to give you usefull backtrase with this bug report?
Comment 3 Yngve Levinsen 2008-12-08 18:04:41 UTC
I just got what sounds pretty much like the same crash. I use Kubuntu 8.10 with kde version 4.1.3 (so perhaps I shouldn't file bug reports at the moment, but anyway). The computer is a Thinkpad T61p in case that is interesting information.
How to reproduce:
I was reading a file in okular, by accident noticing the new choice "speak text" when I marked a text for copy, tried the function and got the crash. Okular itself maintain without problems. The bug seems to be 100% reproducible at the moment (newly discovered for me).

I would suspect that this is a duplicate of another bug, as it is rather easy to find it (didn't see any direct duplicates while searching though). The other option is that it is only for some peculiar setups

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
