If it's only a week or a month that this happens, I don't know.
Just checked that with KDE4.1+ svn trunk (r860647). I can confirm that issue.
It seems fixed in r864988. Could you confirm it?

Comment on attachment 27591 [details] konsoleoutput I still experience that problem in trunk r865263 I attach the output from konsole to that event on my machine. I ran that in Xephyr as kde-devel.
I have a similar problem: If I add a contact by clicking with right mouse button on an email address, and choose "add to addressbook", Kontact hangs, with no feedback. Note: I use an IMAP address book to have access to my contacts from all Linux machines that I use. Is this probably related? Because I think in 3.5 it used to open up the contact in the address book.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kontact (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
