Version: Qt: 3.3.8b KDE: 3.5.10 "release 22.2" Desktop Sharing: 1.0 (using KDE 3.5.10) OS: Linux Installed from: SuSE RPMs The RFB protocol port number can be changed from the "Network" tab of the krfb configuration dialog box. However, if the RFB port number is changed (e.g. to 5910), the HTTP protocol port number is not changed to a corresponding value (krfb (or maybe it's kded) apparently picks the lowest unused port beginning at 5800). This makes it difficult for a remote user to connect to the correct port via HTTP (requires guessing and/or trial-and-error). Reproduce by changing RFB port number, check port assignments with 'netstat -a -t -p'. Expected (i.e. desired) Behaviour[sic] is for the HTTP port to be set to 100 below the RFB port number (e.g. for RFB port = 5910, HTTP port should be 5810). Ideally, krfb should check both port numbers and issue a warning message if either port is already in use by another program.
