Description Michael Krog 2008-09-14 16:10:22 UTC
Version: 4.1.1 (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When deleting in a document the browser crashed.

I think my document, which was imported from a .doc file, had a pageshift only visible when printed.

Seemed like it happened when trying to delete that pageshift.

Backtrace:
Application: Konqueror (konqueror), signal SIGABRT

Thanks for the bug report. If this is reproducible for you, it would be helpful to have a better backtrace, please see
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

It might also help if you could attach a document that can be used to reproduce the crash and describe in detail which steps are necessary to crash Konqueror. Thanks!

Backtrace of crash

It's reproducable...

First you need to have a Google Account, in order to use Google Docs.

You'll need to set konqueror to send the browser id of Firefox on docs.google.com otherwise it won't work.

Then upload a doc File ( I simply typed it in my favourite searchmachine... ) and try to edit it. In my case I deleted some tables inside the doc Document.

Then it crashed.

This crash report is at least 3 years old and there were no further comments or status updates since then.

Therefore we believe that this crash is already fixed in recent KDE 4 versions or the backtrace is no longer applicable to the current KDE 4 sources.

If the crash still happens with a recent KDE version (4.10.5 or 4.11), please add an updated backtrace or provide steps to reproduce. For more information, see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

(To prevent automatic closing of this bug in the future, please set the bug status to ASSIGNED or CONFIRMED)
