Description witekfl 2008-09-14 10:30:43 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), compiled sources)
Compiler: i686-pld-linux-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26.5_vanilla-1

When the notification is on and something happens in the konsole window the "notification" icon is shown on the konosole's tab. That is OK, but
when I click on that tab, the icon should dissappear.
Now the icon is shown "forever" and this makes notification system useless for me.

Is it a bug, or I'm doing something wrong?

Have you experienced this bug again with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ? Thanks :)

I tried kde-4.1.85.
In KDE3 a yellow light bulb icon was shown when something happened in the konsole session. When I clicked on an other konsole's tab the light bulb was replaced by the terminal icon.
In KDE4 a blue "i" icon is shown, but when I click on other tabs the "i" is still visible.
Is it really so difficult to change it?

The problem seems inverted in recent version. The notification icon disappears too easily and quickly(even before you notice it), instead of staying for ever.

maybe related with #257752?
